Q: I’m a little overweight and have no experience with pole fitness, can I still participate? A: Absolutely! Our goal is to help you achieve a new level of physical activity in order to shed some pounds or tone up. We can modify any of the exercises to meet anyone’s individual needs.
Q: I don’t know which class would be most suitable for me or if I can commit to the same time every week. Are there any options for me? A: Yes, we have several options available for you. Your first option would be to drop in to any of the regularly scheduled classes, excluding group sessions and workshops. Otherwise, you can purchase a SASS pass which enables you to come to any of the regularly scheduled classes on any night of the week.
Q: What should I wear to class? A: Shorts and a tank top are your best options although yoga pants, preferably capris, are an exceptional option as well. Please leave any rings at home as well.
Q: How can I prepare for my first class? A: It’s recommended that you don’t apply any lotions or oils to your hands or body 24 hours prior to your class, otherwise you may find it very difficult to grip the pole. Also, please leave any rings or excessive jewelry at home and bring a bottle of water with you.
Q: Can I attend class if I’m pregnant? A: No. Even with a doctor’s note you’ll not be permitted to participate in our classes, pole parties or workshops. Safety is our first priority.
Q: What are your cancellation policies? A: SASS passes are non-refundable, however they are transferable. For students with passes, there is a 24 hour cancellation policy for pre booked classes. If you pre book a class and don’t show or cancel less than 24 hours from the class, you will lose a class off your card. If you don’t show or cancel more than 3 times, your pre booking privileges will be discontinued. The regular sessions are refundable if 1 or more week is given from the start date, if 48 hours or less if given, there will be no refund. If you miss a class and don’t give advance notice, at least 24 hours, there are no options for a makeup class. Makeup classes are only an option if advanced notice is given and there is space in a class in your current level. Private make up sessions will be an additional fee. For workshops, if more than 1 week notice is given, there will be a refund minus a 25% administration fee. Same day no shows or cancellations won’t be entitled to a refund. For private sessions, 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or $35.00 cancellation fee will be administered. If you cancel less than 12 hours before, there will be no refund.
